Wayne J. Casey

Wayne J. Casey concentrates his practice on the representation of high-net-worth individuals, multi-generational families, and fiduciaries in complex estate planning, wealth transfer, and tax matters. He advises on sophisticated strategies designed to preserve and transfer significant assets, including advanced estate and gift tax planning, closely held business succession, deferred giving techniques, charitable entities, and private foundations. His practice also encompasses complex trust and probate administration, tax controversies, and contested estate and fiduciary matters.

Mr. Casey received his Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, from Manhattan College in 1977, where he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and Epsilon Sigma Pi. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law in 1981. Early in his career, he practiced in the Tax Department at Paul Hastings, where he focused on sophisticated estate planning structures and complex taxation matters for high-net-worth clients.

Mr. Casey is admitted to practice before all courts of the State of California, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the United States Tax Court. He is an active member of the Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Law Sections of the California Lawyers Association and previously served as an Officer and Executive Committee Member of the Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Orange County Bar Association.

About Jeff G. Carchidi

Jeff G. Carchidi has more than 26 years of experience focused exclusively on trusts and estates. His practice includes estate and transfer tax planning for high-net-worth individuals, families, and privately held business owners. He advises on all aspects of trust and estate administration and represents clients in related litigation matters. He is regularly engaged by individual clients, corporate and private professional trustees, closely held business boards, and charitable organizations.

Mr. Carchidi earned his A.B. in Economics, magna cum laude, from Occidental College in 1996. He received his Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law in 1999, where he served as Technical Editor of the Santa Clara Law Review (Vol. 39).

From 2009 to 2015, Mr. Carchidi served on the Executive Committee of the Trusts and Estates Section of the State Bar of California. During his tenure, he held leadership roles in the Estate Planning, Litigation, and Income and Transfer Tax subcommittees.

Pamela P. Kuramarohit earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, with a double major in English and Sociology, from University of Notre Dame in 1996. She joined the Firm in 2003 and has since provided dedicated and detail-oriented support to individuals and families in a variety of estate planning and administration matters.

Since 2006, Ms. Kuramarohit has worked closely with Wayne J. Casey as a senior paralegal, focusing on estate and gift tax matters as well as trust and probate administration.
